A small studio in a resort settlement of the Curonian Spit nearest to Klaipėda port – in Juodkrantė – is offered for sale. The apartment is located in the recreation complex "Ąžuolynas" surrounded by pine trees, which is only 100 meters away from the lagoon.
Although Juodkrantė is the second biggest settlement in the Curonian Spit, it has only 700 local inhabitants who live here permanently. This small, calm and neat resort town stretches along the shore of the Curonian Lagoon for 2 kilometres, belongs to Neringa municipality and has been declared a historical-urban reserve.
Juodkrantė is particularly neat, calm and attractive resort, perfect for family holiday. The town has some villas dating back to the late 19th – the early 20th century, fishermen’s homesteads and other wooden buildings which have preserved some ethnical elements and create a unique atmosphere.
A stone sculpture lawn and a well-maintained walking trail line the shore of the Curonian Lagoon. Juodkrantė also has a small port and yacht marina. Juodkrantė is surrounded by beautiful pinewoods beyond which (2 km away) you can find the coast of the Baltic Sea.
The Hill of Witches – an outdoor park of wooden sculptures – is a favourite entertainment place for children. Not far from Juodkrantė, you can also find the Grey Dunes, the observation deck on the Garniai Hill (the Hill of Herons), and the breeding site of the Great Cormorant.
The coastline of Juodkrantė is one of the most universal locations for surfing in Lithuania: kitesurfing and windsurfing are possible on both the lagoon and the seaside.
The Amber Bay not far from Juodkrantė can boast of the largest amount of amber dug in Lithuania.
