Where the sun meets the wind, kitesurfers carve the sky, ships appear on the horizon, and the dunes shimmer with grasses and wildflowers.
This holiday home, located on the Baltic Sea coast, invites you to pause, relax, and immerse yourself in the rhythm of vacation. Sculptural and contextual, inspired by local traditions – the elongated, reed-clad form with elegant curves blends naturally into the landscape.
Designed for a family of kitesurfing enthusiasts, the villa offers a peaceful retreat after an active day. Every room opens to expansive sea views and the horizon beyond. The space is open, bright, and unified: living room, kitchen, and dining area flow together. The warmth of wood, natural materials, and simplicity create a light and cozy atmosphere.
This exceptional project has received international recognition – nominated for the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award, recognized as the best completed project of 2016 in Lithuania at the Archiforma Awards, and featured on one of the world’s most renowned architecture platforms – Archdaily.
