When you hear the word ‘Molėtai’, positive things come to your mind: the extraordinary nature of the forest, the beautiful lakes, the pure clean air and the eternal holiday which allow you to forget all your worries. You can truly surround yourself with such a perfect atmosphere for a lifetime - the homestead in Laumikonys village, surrounded by the meanders of Lake Asvejos, awaits new owners.
The peacefulness of the pine trees that surround the territory of almost 4 hectares is a luxury that is rarely seen nowadays. No one will disturb it, neither neighbours nor holidaymakers, and even the hosts will have enough space to find a space all to themselves: for hobbies, for meditation, or simply to stretch out under an apple tree and watch the clouds pass overhead. The bright shores of Lake Asvejos are just a stone’s throw away - just walk along the private 800 m forest path, while you enjoy berry picking or a chat along the way.
The homestead has been carefully and sustainably designed by the former owners for their own use only: the main house on two levels, a separate apartment for guests, a cosy sauna with a small swim platform to one of the two ponds, a decking area, and a spacious outdoor terrace for long evenings. All the buildings are made of quality natural materials, with a predominance of wood, and moderate interiors and exteriors that blend into the surrounding landscape.
The 6.52 hectares of woodland adjacent to the property is perfect for both family walks and guaranteed privacy.
Although in the middle of the woods, the homestead complex is extremely smart: it is equipped with all the necessary amenities, local water supply, three-mode power inlet (more needs for the future have been considered!).
The main house of 108 sqm is suitable for living in all seasons, with heating and air conditioning, a kitchen with all the appliances a chef would need, and even a working wood-burning stove and dishwasher. There are bathrooms on both floors, and four bedrooms on the second floor - for a large company and a possible working space. The highlight of the house is the fireplace in the living room for cosy evenings or winter escapes from the city. In addition, the house was fully renovated in 2011.
You can draw energy from nature not only in the homestead - the territory is surrounded by forests with long nature trails for discovery and sport, nearby is the Dubingiai Stud Farm for horse riding skills, and in Dubingiai you will find a gift for history enthusiasts - the castle exposition. Dubingiai St. George’s Church is also often a surprise with chamber concerts.
However, if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, or if you have to commute to work, Vilnius is just 45 km away.
